Poked in the Eye with a Sharp Knitting Needle
I learned how to knit 13 years ago. I stopped due to not enough time. The addiction hunted me down and tackled me from behind. I started up again Oct 2007.
I am:
word wrangler, art gawker, music junky, theater dependent, authentic extrovert, foodie, wannabe wino, caffeine fueled, smart a$$, shakes what my mama gave me, globe trotter, retired air guitarist, in training for professional lyric messer upper, silly string champion, theanticarolbradysoccermomtooneson, intelligence admirer, grin inducer, high-heeled big-city concrete crawler, strung out on adrenaline rushes, social butterfly, whips up a mean hot dish, chit-chatter, zen-like, closet nerd, belly laugher, friend collector, in love with my bed, flirt, using my superpowers for good and not evil, sweetie, blessed, yarn ball sniffer.
I swam with sharks in Maui and Belize, hiked the tallest peak in the Pyrenees, sailed in Key West, slaughtered German at a party in Berlin, jumped from a plane, prayed in a Buddhist temple in San Francisco, lit a candle in Notre Dame, wore a low-cut shirt in Drink, traveled by myself without fear, made my own soap, had a gun pointed at my back, grew an herb garden, helped a troubled friend, kissed at the top of the Eiffel Tower, petted a Siberian tiger, hung out with a rock band, walked on a volcano, rode horseback in the water, mentored a kid, slept under the stars, rode on the TGV, swam with a pod of dolphins, rubbed elbows with movie stars, drank water from an iceberg, went deep sea fishing, visited almost every state at least once, cried from pure joy, talked to a voodoo princess, snorkeled with manatees, nuzzled a baby grizzly, gave birth, heard whales sing, sucked at karaoke, sat in a field of wildflowers with the wind to my face, broke a heart, had my heart broken, held hands with an orangutan, raised chickens, danced until dawn, ate wild strawberries trail-side, saw the northern lights, attended Carmen at the Metropolitan Opera House.
